It is mainly used for production date coding, anti-counterfeiting marking, and coding applications in the food and pharmaceutical packaging industries. The machine supports automatic coding, serial numbers, batch numbers, date codes, barcodes, QR codes, automatic numbering and other functions to meet various marking requirements of different customers.

It is suitable for online marking on most metals and some surface-treated non-metallic materials, such as metal products, PVC, HDPE, aluminum film, rubber, plastics and more.

It is widely used in personal care, food and beverage packaging, alcohol, dairy products, electronic components, chemical and building materials industries for marking production and expiration dates, batch numbers, shift codes, company names, logos and other graphics and text content.

INTERFACE DESCRIPTION

1. Photoelectric Sensor Interface (GX16-3-pin Connector)
Only NPN-type photoelectric sensors are supported. The pin definitions are as follows:

Pin Function Description
Pin1 IF_12-24V Power output, directly connected to the power supply for PL14_Pin1 input.
Pin2 TRIGGER Photoelectric sensor signal input.
Pin3 GND Ground.

2. Encoder Interface (GX16-4-pin Connector)
Only NPN output type encoders are supported.

Pin Function Description
Pin1 IF_12-24V Power output, directly connected to the power supply for PL14_Pin1 input.
Pin2 EnCo_SA NPN encoder phase A input.
Pin3 EnCo_SB NPN encoder phase B input.
Pin4 GND Ground.

3. Expansion Port (GX16-10-pin Connector)

Pin Function Description
Pin1 IF_12-24V Power output, directly connected to the power supply for PL14_Pin1 input.
Pin2 CTL_IO0 Control input/output port 0, configurable via software as input or output. When used as output, it is open-collector (NPN type), max. 500mA. When used as input, it is NPN type input.
Pin3 CTL_IO1 Control input/output port 1, configurable via software as input or output. When used as output, it is open-collector (NPN type), max. 500mA. When used as input, it is NPN type input.
Pin4 CTL_IO2 Control input/output port 2, configurable via software as input or output. When used as output, it is open-collector (NPN type), max. 500mA. When used as input, it is NPN type input.
Pin5 CTL_IO3 Control input/output port 3, configurable via software as input or output. When used as output, it is open-collector (NPN type), max. 500mA. When used as input, it is NPN type input, and can be used as phase A input for the second encoder.
Pin6 CTL_IO4 Control input/output port 4, configurable via software as input or output. When used as output, it is open-collector (NPN type), max. 500mA. When used as input, it is NPN type input, and can be used as phase B input for the second encoder.
Pin7 GND Ground.
Pin8 RS232_TX RS232 communication serial port transmit output.
Pin9 RS232_RX RS232 communication serial port receive input.
Pin10 GND Ground.
